2022年台美公民協會（TACL）橙縣分會獎學金接受申請

我很高興地宣佈2022年台美公民協會（TACL）橙縣分會獎學金計劃。TACL成立於1985年7月。”TACL的使命是提高台美人的生活品質。我們的工作主要致力於領導力、身份認同、人際網路和公民身份。

為了激勵和鼓勵我們社區的下一代領導者，TACL的橙縣分會將繼續其獎學金計劃（去年重新建立），為計劃在2022年秋季進入美國學院或大學的十名爾灣公立高中畢業生提供獎學金。本計畫將從五所爾灣公立學校中各選出兩名高中畢業生。每位學生將獲得1,000美元的獎勵，以表彰個人的學術成就、領導能力和課外活動。

獎學金將於2022年2月1日至2022年3月15日接受申請。申請必須通過台美專業人士協會（TAP）網站在線提交：www.tap-oc.org/scholarship。資格要求和更多詳細資訊列在隨附的TACL-OC獎學金公告傳單中。

台美專業人士協會（TAP）是TACL下的非營利組織。TAP成員大多是第二代台灣專業人士。TAP橙縣分會（TAP-OC）將監督獎學金計劃的遴選過程。

I am pleased to announce the 2022 Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL) Orange County Scholarship Program. TACL was established in July 1985. “The mission of TACL is to enhance the quality of life to Taiwanese Americans. Our work is largely devoted to Leadership, Identity, Networking, and Citizenship.”

To inspire and encourage the next generation of leaders in our community, the Orange County Chapter of TACL will continue its Scholarship Program (re-established last year) for ten Irvine public high school seniors planning to attend colleges or universities in the U.S. in the Fall of 2022. Two high school seniors will be selected from each of the five Irvine public schools. Each student will be awarded $1,000 as recognition of the individual’s academic achievements, leadership qualities, and extracurricular activities.

Scholarship applications will be accepted February 1, 2022 through March 15, 2022. Applications must be submitted online through the Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) web site: www.tap-oc.org/scholarship. The eligibility requirements and further details are listed in the attached TACL-OC Scholarship Announcement flyer.

The Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) is a nonprofit organization under TACL, its parent organization. The majority of TAP members are second-generation Taiwanese professionals. The TAP Orange County Chapter (TAP-OC) will oversee the Scholarship Program selection process.
