台美公民協會（TACL）成立於1985年7月13日。 TACL的使命是提高台裔美國人的生活品質。TACL的工作主要致力於台美人青年的領導力、身份認同、網絡和公民權。
為了激勵和鼓勵社區的下一代領導人，TACL橙縣分會（TACL-OC）為計劃2021年秋季在美國上大學的十名爾灣公立中學高年級學生設立了一項獎學金基金。每位學生將獲得1,000美元，表彰受獎學生的學業成就、領導才能和課外活動表現。
2021年3月8日至2021年4月17日將接受獎學金申請。申請人必須在網站www.tap-oc.org/scholarship上在線提交獎學金申請。資格要求也在TACL-OC獎學金公告中列出。

The Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL) was established on July 13, 1985. “The mission of TACL is to enhance the quality of life to Taiwanese Americans. Our work is largely devoted to Leadership, Identity, Networking and Citizenship.”
To inspire and encourage the next generation of leaders in our communities, the TACL Orange County Chapter (TACL-OC) has established a scholarship fund for ten Irvine public high school seniors planning to attend colleges or universities in the U.S. in the Fall of 2021. Each student will be awarded $1,000 as recognition
of the student’s academic achievements, leadership qualities, and extracurricular activities.
Scholarship applications will be accepted March 8, 2021 through April 17, 2021. Applications must be submitted online at our web site: www.tap-oc.org/scholarship. Eligibility requirements are listed in the attached TACL-OC Scholarship Announcement.
The Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) is a nonprofit organization under the TACL, its parent organization. Most of the TAP members are second-generation Taiwanese professionals. The TAP Orange County Chapter (TAP-OC) is overseeing the scholarship selection process. Their dedication and efforts are greatly appreciated.
