Mythical Glove Puppets

Event Details
Children will learn the history of Taiwanese glove puppetry, and make imaginary mythical glove puppets out of fabrics and clay. This project is made possible through a grant from the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division. This event will be filmed by Side Street Projects.

Event Details
Under the tutelage of Side Street Projects artist, Ching Ching Cheng, discover the tradition of Taiwanese glove puppets. Children will create their puppets on the first workshop, and on the second workshop, develop a story to perform in Ms. Cheng’s little theater. Ages 7 to 11. Registration is required.
