（中央社記者陳韻聿台北2日電）世界衛生大會（WHA）將在5月舉行，美國國務院及駐聯合國代表團近日在推特發起#TweetForTaiwan（推文挺台灣）運動。外交部今天呼籲各界熱烈響應，將台灣「推進」WHA。

外交部發言人歐江安表示，美國國務院號召網友用推文支持台灣參與WHA，以分享對抗武漢肺炎（2019冠狀病毒疾病，COVID-19）的「台灣模式」（#TaiwanModel），美國駐聯合國常任代表團也推文要求聯合國不應排除台灣。此外，美國國務院西半球事務局代理助卿柯札克（Michael Kozak）等國務院官員紛紛大力轉推相關主題標籤。

歐江安說，中華民國（台灣）外交部感謝美國國務院及眾多美國友人堅定支持及協助台灣爭取參與世界衛生組織（WHO）；美方的創意做法有助國際社會廣泛瞭解，並更加重視將台灣納入WHO的必要性與急迫性。
歐江安指出，武漢肺炎對人類造成嚴重威脅，至今全球累計超過338萬人確診、其中超過23萬人死亡，凸顯全球防疫系統不能遺漏任何人，且需各國政府揚棄政治偏見、通力合作。
歐江安說，台灣有寶貴的成功抗疫經驗，且樂意與各國分享；台灣有充分理由、更有權利參與聯合國會員國的抗疫努力，以及WHO的所有會議、機制與活動。
歐江安指出，美國國務院在WHA召開前發起挺台主題標籤行動，充分反映台美關係緊密友好。外交部期盼各界熱烈響應，力挺台灣以觀察員身分出席今年WHA，並在會中分享「台灣模式」防疫經驗。台灣也將盡其所能，與美國等理念相近國家及友邦合作，協助國際社會早日終結疫情，回歸正常、健康的生活。（編輯：林興盟）1090502
