曾拍攝反送中，美籍攝影師遭香港拒絕入境

（中央社台北5日電）港媒報導，美籍攝影師康諾斯（Matthew Connors）月初入境香港時遭扣留訊問，之後被拒絕入境。此前康諾斯曾赴港拍攝「反送中」抗爭，並一度被捕，但未遭控罪。港府則表示不評論個案。

香港南華早報報導，在美國麻州藝術與設計學院（Massachusetts College of Art and Design ）擔任攝影教授的康諾斯4日晚間7時許入境香港時，被入境事務處職員扣留訊問4小時，之後遭拒絕入境，並被安排搭乘5日凌晨的班機返回美國紐約。

報導引述康諾斯表示，入境處職員表示他未能「達到入境的要求」（meet the immigration requirements），但沒有提供更多的細節。

「反送中」抗爭爆發以來，康諾斯曾在8月和9月兩度赴香港採訪，並在8月被逮捕。

港媒「香港自由新聞」（HKFP，Hong Kong Free Press）引述康諾斯表示，自己8月採訪期間，曾被警方要求出示記者證，但由於他是自由記者，沒有相關證件，因此改向警方提供駕照和教師證，但最終仍因沒攜帶護照而被捕。康納最終被扣留在警署數小時後獲釋，至今未遭控罪。

但康諾斯指出，自己9月還曾入境香港採訪，因此不認為本次遭拒絕入境和8月被捕的經歷有關。

康諾斯表示，這起事件讓自己相當難過，他認為港府正進一步侵蝕自己所宣稱要維護的自由。

對此，香港入境事務處表示，不評論個案；並強調處理每宗入境案時，都會依據相關法例和入境政策，並充分考慮個案具體狀況後才做出決定。

康諾斯以往曾拍攝過「占領華爾街」和埃及社會變動的作品，他出版的「埃及之火」（Fire in Cairo）曾在2016年獲得國際攝影中心（International Center of Photography）獎項。而他拍攝的反送中作品，也刊載在去年11月的「加州星期天雜誌」（The California Sunday Magazine）上。（編輯：沈朋達/林克倫）1090105
